Introduction
Resources for Women Facing Domestic Abuse
Hope in Your Heartbreak is intended to help hurting wives take some initial steps forward in facing and responding to their husbands’ sexual unfaithfulness. These experiences of betrayal are often painfully traumatic. Our video discipleship course does not aim to provide comprehensive marriage counseling or address the sad reality of emotional, physical, spiritual, and sexual abuse. If you are not only facing sexual betrayal but marital abuse of any kind, here are some helpful resources for you to consider. We urge you to take steps to be safe.
- For immediate help, call 911.
- National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-SAFE (7233)
- Many states have an office specific to domestic violence, such as: Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
