Hope in Your Heartbreak: First Steps for Wives Facing Sexual Betrayal is a six-session video discipleship course that offers compassionate hope and practical first steps of response for women suffering the life-rocking experience of sexual unfaithfulness. This unwanted journey is one that no wife signs up for, and it’s not a quick, straight line forward of steps to get healed, or for a marriage to get fixed. Like most experiences of traumatic suffering, sexual betrayal in marriage casts a hurting and disoriented wife into a stormy sea of unknown, scary, and often life-altering decisions.
Hope in Your Heartbreak was developed specifically for wives who are alone, stuck, and don’t know what to do first. Our hearts’ priorities as we developed the content for the teaching sessions and the On Your Own Reflection Sheets are summarized here:
- That the way we address tough topics will be reflective of God’s heart of mercy and compassion for you.
- That the topics we’ve chosen to dive into with our sessions will help you understand how Jesus is actively at work in your situation.
- And that we’ll weave together God’s wisdom, truth, and comfort so that you’ll be helped with practical counsel on initial steps forward towards the hope of healing.
The six sessions are taught by Ellen Mary Dykas and Caitlin McCaffrey, who represent over twenty years of experience of walking with wives from the revelation of sexual betrayal, toward healing through Christ and wisdom for how to walk forward.
